I have always switched out run flats for non run flats on my previous cars. I found the run flats always noisy previously. On my LC the Michelin PSS run flats are quiet...........same as non run flats in my opinion. No reason to change them out and I will replace with the same when the time comes.

I as well have switched out my RF's on my mercedes in the past. Albeit I got a flat in a small town once and it was kind of a hassle to limp my way to a tire shop and get it fixed. Run risk of ruining a wheel. Unless you are in range of a tow. I have not switched out my LC tires yet (have 8500 miles on them) but may go with RF's again after I read through the threads on here more closely.

DT checks your TD when you pull in. When I get the plug done last week the front Stones were 8/32, the rears were 7/32.
I'm a little over 18k miles.

I also have switched out the RF's on my wife's X5 and just switched out the LC's for the Mich Pilot 4 All seasons. I put an air pump cig lighter activated in both vehicles in case I need to get from A-B. (powerful works qwik its called the Viair 85P portable air compressor) will not help if I get a blowout or pot hole split. Keep that in mind.

Good reminder. Although I also had an almost complete blowout with RF's so not sure their is any sure fire solution.

No fire solution other than my AAA insurance here in the NE and a flat bed.

it's a bit like oil or gas brands, people have their opinions and generally can't be changed. several hear have, several haven't. all seem happy with their decision.

not peculiarly so; just bumble along like the rest of us swingin' d's, cut it loose maybe once in a while when no one's lookin, but certainly not hard enough to warrant repurchase at 15 k...
just might show you what a tire ('Stones) specifically designed for your car (LC) may be capable of, if you're payin attention

glad you're so in love with your bridgestones, lol. i'm sure the L on the side makes all the difference.
as pointed out, lexus has certified about a half dozen different brands for the LC.
