Huh - I originally had those tires on my LC, and frankly never noticed that marking However, it does appear to be a directional marking.

is that meant "directional tyre"?
LOL, that does NOT indicate directional. It's the Run Flat logo

Lightbulb What tires to put on the LC? (21" wheels option)

I am in the Lexus family since 2011 when I bought my IS350 but this year I decided to sell it to buy a LC500.
I will have to change the tires soon, the car is 32 000 km.

Did someone changed their tires for something that is better than the oem Pilot Sport 4S or are they the best option?
I've saw that Pirelli make a P Zero tire that can fit the LC but from what I've read so far the Michelin are better.

I want the best for my car so I have no problem to simply buy the Michelin Pilot Sport but wanted to know if someone here tried something else and was satisfied?

*by better I'm talking about handling first.

I'd just go with the Pilot Sports. There really isn't a better tire out there.

I have had PS's on Lexus, BMW, & Ferraris. Zero problems and they last longer than most competitors, too.

^^^^This is the first I've heard of an LC coming stock with Michelin PS4S tires The LC comes OEM with either Bridgestone or Michelin tires. When equipped with 21" wheels and Michelin tires it comes with Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZP (RFT) tires. 245/40/21 in front and 275/35/21 in back.

I agree. I just replaced my original tires (21") with Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZP (RFT) tires. An immediate difference was noticeable from the OEM. Better grip and smoother ride.

By the way, Lou, mine came OEM with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx - FYI

Hmm - Didn't know they were using Dunlops also. Look's like it's the SP Sport Maxx 050 DSST CTT tire. I don't much about that tire except that it's a RFT. And you know how I feel about RFTs.

As soon as I changed my wheels, I slapped on a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Compared to the Bridgestone RF - COMPLETE NIGHT AND DAY. Much smoother ride, quieter, better grip (stickier) and just an overall better experience. Just go with either the Michelin PS 4S of the SS, IMHO.
