Default Screen scratch

My never ending fear is dealer damage whenever my car is serviced. And I have had more than my share in my life and now with my LC. This time a scratch on the screen. Anyone know how big a deal it is to replace? Or if there is any remedy I can physically apply to lessen the obvious?

OMFG.

Go back to the dealer immediately and complain.

Which dealer was it here in AZ?

210 miles away from me. Superstition in Mesa. They flat bed it back and forth, so risks are high. It was in for the fuel pump recall.

Also to repair the bottom of the front end from previous flat bed scrapes. And then when they tried to send it back, this time in an enclosed carrier, they scratched the driver's side skirt. So it was in with them for like 3 weeks.

I'm patient, forgiving and have low blood pressure.

If I don't soon hear back from the dealer, I'll go to Lexus and see about it being replaced at my home.

Sounds like OP has the right disposition. It’s a scratch. The screen can and should be replaced. No sense going ape on anyone.

It is a substantial scratch and shouldn’t happen during a service call but it did and time to deal with it in a grown up manner, which woulda like the OP is doing.

goes to remind us all to look the car over after it’s been in for some work, or Valet Parked.
