Default What is this sound in my new LC?

I haven't even driven this car yet but what is this sound upon pushing the start button once.......and then turning the car off?

It sounds like a mini electronic horn...

Fellow LC owner just sent me video of his ‘vert performing the same exact sequences and that sound in my videos was not present.

This could be a record for first Lexus that has a warranty claim! LoL

They didn't include a temp tag in the car. They 2-day expressed it to me and it won't be here til MOnday.

The car was not supposed to arrive here until Tuesday.

Could it be the seat starting to move?

Nope. It’s coming from under the car and it does it even when the seat is not moving whenever I turn the car on or off.

Texted the videos to my Lexus tech at the dealer here. LoL.

Looks like she is going in for service.

bummer. my (coupe) doesn't make any sound in those situations. i'm thinking it's something to do with your roof mechanism? maybe try wth the roof already down (or up if it was down)?

Tried that. It does it no matter where the top is when waking the vehicle and shutting the vehicle off.

I’ll take her in next week as her schedule for the rest of this week is full with PPF/Ceramic coating/tint.

Looked to me like the steering wheel moving back into driving position from easy exit position at the same time as the noise. That's my guess as to what you're hearing.

Something wrong with the fuel pump? I know when I got my GSF there was a lot of info about high pressure fuel pump issues / recall on the 2UR.

I think I remember hearing this sound in my LC as well but it's been a while since it last made this noise.

I've heard that noise on my LC before several times. I honestly don't think it's something of concern (as if something isn't working well) - but don't listen to me, as I have no clue what it could be. Sounds like an actuator within the engine bay...

Wanted to let you know my 2021 lc coupe makes the exact same noise.

Ordered car from Japan took delivery Oct. 1st. Never noticed noise until viewing your video.

I doubt very much this is a defect. I bet there is a simple explanation. My car has 900 miles and it went in for

500 mile check-up with no issues. I'll be watching for your progress.

Was putting on new license plate after turning off car 5 minutes previously and heard noise. Definitely coming from rear. Wonder if anything to do with new Yamaha damper?

can you post a vid on YouTube?

another member sent me him performing the same sequence and there was no sound. But it is a lot more noticeable with the top off or windows down.
