I had my LC completely wrapped with X-PEL ultimate. Price was $4,800 which is cheap for my area. Installer has done other cars for me.

He also applied 2 coats of ceramic pro for $1,000. Lastly I had windshield covered with clear plex $350. Keeping my cars for a long time

I find wrapping the entire car the best solution. The look and maintenance is uniform and the protection is complete. After all, these

are $100,000 plus cars.

Ceramic coatings are worth it if you can not do it yourself...

buying:
Adam's cordless dual action polisher
sonax cutmax/perfect finish
orange/ white buffing pads
car pro uk 3.0
clay bar
iron x
car pro reload bottle
all purchase for $375

own it for life, take your time doing half the car at a time as a hobby for those who can not handle all the work.

I do this every year and its therapeutic

The front windshield will 70% so although not clear, it should not be a huge impact to the glare coating from factory. What I will be getting from the tinting is huge UV and IR blocking technology which is greatly needed here in Florida.

Will windshield tint by any chance screw up heads up display (HUD) visibility?

I recently bought my used 2019 LC500 (3900 miles). It had full body PPF and Zaktek which was all done by the dealer when new.
I don't know much about zaktek and the dealer wanted to know if I wanted a zaktek service when I bought it (I declined).

I've done ceramic on my other cars in the past, would that be appropriate for this car? Not sure if the original zaktek is similar to ceramic or how it compares or how long it lasts. Being that the whole car has PPF, is it just a matter of giving it a good wash and then putting ceramic on or is the same amount of preparation required as if it had no PPF?

Its my understanding that zaktec is a sealant and not a coating. I had ceramic coating applied to both the PPF and non PPF surfaces and the only thing I need to do is to bring it back to the detailer annually for their inspection. The coating system is covered under a 5 year warranty. So far I’m extremely pleased with the product quality and the service provided.

I talked to my dealer today, they quoted $1900 for PPF on hood, front panels to the doors. 10 year warranty, the dealership honors it. They don’t do ceramic coating but can coordinate that to be done at the same time, waiting for a call back for a final quote.

I’ve heard many great things about Xpel PPF, but the dealer offers a different brand, LLumar, made by Eastman. I am going to call the dealer back tomorrow and get the rep’s number. Calling to see if I can get a “feel” for the dealer install quality. That seems to be the biggest part of most of it, anyway.

The dealer wouldn't install it. Probably another company in the area. Look for an xpel installer in your area. I got full front. And side skirts for $2500. They're not offering that great of a deal. Plus the authorized installer would honor the xpel 10 year warranty.

The dealer accessories team is installing it - per my SA. Looking into it, LLumar offers a product that incorporates PPF and Ceramic Coating. I am looking more into that. Dealer $1998 quote is for entire hood (wrapped around), mirrors, rocker panels and front bumper.

Looks like the LLumar Valor has a 12 year warranty.

DDoesn't sound bad of a price. But the film is something not familiar with. I've had xpel on both my cars and they've held up great. I would be concerned if the film isn't great you'll be able to tell what is and isn't wrapped. Why not wrap the whole thing? Especially that paint that's so hard to paint and procure. Good luck with what you decide.
