found out how heavy the LC is
i'd backed out of my garage. decided to turn around car to be ready to head out, not knowing my gf had left her purse right by the passenger front wheel. so i backed over it utterly destroying everything inside the purse including her iphone.
as you can imagine, fun ensued after that. fortunately was able ti buy a temp replacement refurb phone and setup a few hours later with all her iphone content/apps,
she already had a new iphone on order but now she's going to cancel that and get a new one at the store today, so i know what i'll be doing later (another transfer ).
oh and the LC's fine.

Very unusual place to leave a purse, I hope she's really good looking -

I was thinking the same thing. Kinda weird to put a purse behind a car. Really weird to put it behind a tire!
I think I'd be yelling at my wife if she did that and she would be in trouble. Not the other way around.. hahahah

My LC is fine.
My girlfriend is likely to kill me.

Judging by how handsome Bitkuhuna is (as per his comments on another thread) I’m guessing the girlfriend left a lot more than her purse on the garage floor in a hurry to get in and greet him.
glad it all worked out and no animals were injured in this story.

Haha lots of wisdom in this thread.
Lemme explain how the purse came to be near the wheel! It's not her fault really.
so i'd backed straight ouf of my garage, but just out, so she didn't have far to walk to the car. She got to the passenger side of the car with a big bag and her purse and realized she'd left something inside (a mask!). So she put the bags down i guess near the passenger door, which i didn't know.
trying to be 'helpful', i decided to back the car up AND TURN to then go forward, then back up, to be the right way round to leave. Turning the steering wheel counter clockwise as i moved meant the front tire backed over the purse (missed the bag).
So that's what happened.
To keep this an LC thread though, i now wonder if i can blame the rear wheel steering for making the front 'swing out' as the rears must have turned in the opposite direction! Not that i'm going to blame that to her, it's obviously "my fault" no matter what.
Wow i'm not sure where i might have made any comments to imply i'm handsome, ha. That would be rather arrogant!
