Hi All:

My search could be coming to an end soon, I may have a dealer at MO agreeing on my price and will help setup the transport of a MY21 LC to CA.

Dumb question: Is LC 500 a 50 state car? I just want to make sure I can register her in CA. MO is not a CARB state, but I do see other folks buying from out of states. Here is my my 2019 Tacoma, under the hood has Emission sticker showing CA compliant. Anyone would be kind enough to take a picture of the sticker under the hood and share what state you bought the car from? Ideally if the car is bought from a non-CARB state, and the sticker still shows CA Emission, then I know what I should expect tomorrow. Thanks in advance, Terence

All vehicles are 50 state compliant. I’m pretty sure the notion of CA specific builds went out with the 80’s. Even my 1990 SR5 was 50 state.

^^^^That's correct I bought my LC in Nebraska, I'm in Arizona. I just checked under my hood and yes I have a sticker like the one depicted in the first post.

Confirmed. Looking good here, pic from the dealer just now. I've also found a CARB site that stating LC500 is part of the cert, maybe of use for future discussions.

buying out of state was a non-issue for me as we don't have inspections.
