The best, bar none. The real thing and many options depending on your state's plate configuration.

Am I the only person who thinks plates look better without a frame?

I never put a frame around my plates.

So i got mine and installed it.

plusses (to me):
- only 2 screw holes
- like cf look on my dark (caviar) car
- nice screw caps included

minuses (to me):
- bottom thick frame obscures state motto (no biggie, but not sure why they don't offer a thin 2 screw bottom frame version, maybe a lack of rigidity?
- the matte is a bit plain, maybe i should have gone for the glossy one

Thanks to DRGibbons

one i got: https://carbonfibergear.com/products...th-clear-cover

I ordered a set just like yours. They arrive today. Is it weird to be excited about the arrival of license plate frames? 🤣

My gloss carbon fiber fit my state's plate just fine. It takes different frames to best display the different state plate configurations.

Thanks for the feedback. I went ahead and used the hardware provided and filled all four holes. It looks complete now. Can’t explain the bowing effect except that it fits tightly to the license plate holder below it.

Nice! How did you attach the bottom hole covers since you couldn't use screws there?

I took the plastic plate holder off, threaded the two bottom screws into the plate holder, backed them out and trimmed off about three threads on each screw (with a hacksaw) so that they would not contact the paint behind the mounted plate holder. It was an easy job and now the top and bottom of the license plate and frame are well secured.
