I have a somewhat odd situation where I’d like to plug my personal phone into the usb for Apple CarPlay music but use my work phone to make calls via Bluetooth. Is this possible?

Unless there is an LC500 specific feature that allows this, I do not think this is possible on Lexus's newest infotainment systems. For me, in order to enable apple carplay I have to disconnect all Bluetooth devices. YMMMV. The best way to figure it out would be to try and Bluetooth your work phone to the car and then plug in your phone to the usb for carplay, In my experience, it will give you a prompt saying you have to disconnect all Bluetooth devices but there is no harm in trying it yourself! Hope you can get it worked out.

I think I figured it out after all. Connected both phones to Bluetooth. Then selected personal phone and “connected as audio device” and work as phone. Then connected personal phone to usb and instead of CarPlay appearing it recognizes it as an iPod. Now when I plug up my personal phone to usb I’m able to control and display the music and still make and receive phone calls on work thru Bluetooth. Problem solved. 👍🏾

or just put your work phone SIM card in your personal phone. Most phones have two SIM cards. so you can use the same phone as both. the second SIM card in an iPhone is digital but still there nonetheless
