How much did you pay for your LC 500 convertible?
I know that it's not so long after LC 500 convertible appeared at the dealers and you had to pay something over MSRP to get it. But, maybe, it's time to try to get a discount... What do you think I should try? I purchased 3 other Lexus cars at the same dealer in previous years, always for a good price. Should I try to get $7,000 discount? Is it realistic?

I keep a close eye on LC 'vert inventory throughout the Southeast and the cars seem to be moving pretty quickly. I made widespread inquiries as to pricing a few months ago and found very little flexibility, MSRP with never more than $1,000 or so coming off. The only negotiating power I found was (supposedly) on my proposed trade (a low-mileage 2019 M850ix 'vert in mint condition), and there wasn't much of that, either. Your mileage may vary.
(FWIW, for months, the vast majority of cars received by SE dealers were white over caramel or white over red. Now, I'm seeing mostly red over caramel or red over black. And 99 percent of the cars are identically equipped: CFRP Carbon Scuff Plate, Touring Package - including Mark Levinson sound, even though ML sometimes is listed separately, 21" wheels, Torsen Limited Slip, and HUD.)

Discounts have been available since the convertible landed
No harm in talking to the dealer(s) you purchased from before to see where they are on price
Going out of your local market may make sense if the deal overcomes inconvenience of getting the car
One of the bigger points beyond price is finding one you like
Do you have one or two configurations in mind?
If so, search for the car you want and then follow up with the dealers that have them in inventory to see how flexible they are on price
just understand that some of these folks will consider these the hot new model coming into Summer and may not be too hungry for a sale

Purchased my LC 500 convertible in December.
Sent requests to 13 dealers. One came back with $4k off MSRP. I used that to negotiate with a Chicago dealer who offered $5k off.
MSRP was $112kish and I got $5k off.
Also got 0% for 60-months financing, to boot.

That looks like a really good price! I worry that it will be more difficult now, when the weather is much better for convertibles :-) But I will definitely try to get to similar numbers.

If you are buying a vehicle this expensive it WILL pay to buy from an out of state dealer most of the time. DOn't be afraid of shipping. I saved THOUSANDS of dolllars even AFTER shipping it cross-country.

Apropos of nothing - literally, nothing - this very morning, I received the first quote from an Atlanta-area dealer: $10K over MSRP! First time I've seen anything like that.
Then, when I failed to respond, this second quote came a few hours later. How lucky am I? They decided to give me a $10K discount!
The first one was embarrassing. The second one was insulting.

I got $100 off so basically MSRP, got a fair price for my trade. Most importantly i got the exact car I wanted Atomic Silver/Red loaded every option convertible. I am happy it was worth it to get the car I wanted.

S2000toIS350... Totally agree with you.
"New to the forum and Lexus in general." Just picked up my 21 Atomic Silver / Circuit Red LC500 Convertible from a dealer in NY a couple weeks ago. Fell in love with the coupe after seeing it in a mall in Tokyo last year. Total window was $112,365 and saved a little over $7,500. They only had one model in stock and luckily exactly what I wanted.
I checked every dealer's inventory within 100 miles looking for the color and features I wanted and went from there. Some local NJ dealers wouldn't even discuss a discount while others did. Did all the negotiating online and picked it up several days later.
Hope this helps.
