Default car cover for LC (merged master thread)

Has anyone purchased a car cover for the LC500? What brands do you recommend? I have to ship my car in October, wondering if I should purchase a cover.
Are they available on the market specifically to fit the LC500?

Hi Lynneizle. I want to buy a car cover for my LC500 (White).
Here in sunny SoCal, the wind blows dirt everywhere. My three labs stir up the dirt too.
I bought a car duster and that helps.
I don't think Lexus makes car covers or I'd have one. I'll be following your post.
What color is your LC?

Mine is Liquid Platinum (Silver). I'm in Palm Springs part of the year, so I understand the dirt.
I've found several covers on the internet claiming they are for the LC500, I'll have to make a few phone calls to ensure it will fit properly.

If it also fits a LS460 it is not custom fit. Try www.covercraft.com - many choices. I have used them for 6 vehicles.

I contacted the seller and he confirmed that it was custon fit only for the LC. It appears that he can't modify the listing detail to remove LS. Thanks for the link to covercraft, much better selection.

I ordered a Weathershield HP from covercraft.. Red/Red to go with my Ifradred. Great fit - easy to install quickly. Seems to be a good solution for indoors or outdoors. Stores in a relatively small area as well

www.covercraft.com/us/en/

I give it a 2 Thumbs Up !!

I am thinking of getting a sun shield for my rear window. If you have a front sun shield are you picking up a lot of heat from the rear window?

I got a front AND rear window heat shield from HeatSHield.

https://www.heatshieldstore.com/

The fit was great and I ordered the GOLD with black backing. Looks fabulous with the Infrared color. Heat was greatly reduced.

Only drawback is you need to be a contortionist (I'm a pretty BIG fella) to get the rear one in place. I don't put it in every time I park . . .

Default Lexus Car Cover for LC

I’m just visiting fom the LS460 forum I participate in. When I was at the Lexus dealer yesterday I snapped a few pictures of this neat looking car cover with the Lexus/Mark Levinson badging. I asked the service advisor what the heck was under there he said an LC so I wanted to share with this forum. Looks cool to me...

Judging by the shape, the shark-fin antenna protrusion, and the graphics - that's an RC, not an LC.

Default Dust Cover Fit

Check out how the Dustop cover fits the LC 500.

This cover is made to just protect against dust.

It's amazing how much dust is flowing around in my garage.

I think it's because I have three roof vents.

It does a good job !
