Default Sending navigation destinations to the LC

Is there a way to send destinations to the car so they are there when you start the ignition? Google maps can do that for BMW, Infiniti, Kia and a few other brands, but not for Lexus. The BMW iPhone app includes that feature, but the otherwise more capable Lexus app apparently does not. The Lexus Drivers account website has been down for maintenance since I opened my account there a few days ago. Is there another trick that I'm missing - other than swapping over to CarPlay?

i don't see a way to do it which is ridiculous because as you say, most every other new car can do it these days.

2018 LS's and LC's have Lexus Generation 10 systems. Enter addresses into your phone
contacts and they will be easily entered into the Navigation by simply going to
Destinations on screen and swipe down to "Contacts" Any and all that you have
addresses in your phone will be available.

That does help, a bit. In reality, if an address already is in my contacts, there's a good chance I know how to get there, and it's a bit of work to create a contact just to reach, say, an out-of-town restaurant or something like that for a one-time visit, but, yes, this workaround is better than nothing. Thanks.

You can also connect with Lexus Destination Assist (subscription) and tell the operator where you would like to go and they will upload it wirelessly to your Navigation System.

Thanks. I did see that and may end up giving it a try.

It's been very convenient for me. I never actually enter a destination anymore, I just call and let the young lady on the other end do the work for me. Takes less than a minute.
I believe it cost me $8/month

The 2018 and 2019 Lexi were the sweet spot of the Lexus Enform Subscription saga.

What started out in 2010 as just Safety Connect was Complimentary for 12 months and then $149/year.
When the Lexus Remote Start App rolled out in 2015 (sedans) and 2016 (SUV's) it added $100/year = $249/year!
Directory Assistance was yet another $100/year after the 1 year trial...$349/year for all three.
Safety Connect was and is required to provide the connectivity for the optional RS and DA functions.

Fast forward to 2018, the Safety Connect became free for 120 months, 10 years! Subscriptions for the RS and DA
features dropped to $80/year each or as DRGibbons correctly mentioned, $8/month if you only RS in the winter.

Now the 2020 and 2021's have everything, SC, Lexus App RS, Directory Assistance, Dynamic Navigation free for 36 months
Subscription for the Safety Connect starting in the fourth (4th) year is $80 as are the optional modules, RS and/or DA.

Dynamic Navigation (Cloud based updates to the static Navigation Data) is updated for 2 year periods in year 4 for $169 DYI.

Sure are a lot of features there I will never use. Even if free. Wonder how much Lexus spends to engineer and maintain all that. Apparently people want and use such.

I suspect most of it is managed via a 3rd party that probably offers services for other brands with a new skin. I do miss the ability to send an address from my phone to my car without fiddling with in-car controls on other vehicles.

The original Lexus Enform App Suite (2014 - 2019's) works very well and is free.
Research and save up to ten (10) destinations and they will be available in the native Lexus Nav.
The new and improved (sic) Lexus Enform App Suite 2.0 dropped that feature however.
