I purchased a 2018 LC500 in December and upgraded the infotainment system to add Apple CarPlay from the dealer. It costed (I don't remember the exact amount) between $150-$350. I will say that the rougher suspension isn't really noticeable/important unless you're trying to wind out the car. With the way that you'll be driving the LC500, I wouldn't worry too much about chassis/suspension stiffness or transmission adjustments-If you really find that it's unbearable, just keep the LC500 out of Sport or Sport#. My older parents do drive the car and I have not heard a single complaint from them regarding comfort.
Thanks for your input! I'm very much aware that this is not a sports/track car, but I was a bit worried about the possibility that I might regret buying a 2018 over a newer one.

Funny you say that, because one thing I've thought about pre-LC purchase is how my parents will feel either driving it or sitting passenger. They've been so used to driving either the E-Class or the LX over the past couple decades, that I was worried the LC would be unbearable. That being said, we also have a C-Coupe that my parents have driven recently... and based on my test drive of the LC500 I found it just as compliant/forgiving as the C-Coupe if not moreso. So I think it'll be fine. Glad you confirmed my assumption there.
usually the issue for, uh, seniors, in a car like an LC is getting in and out...
my goodness, ageism rages through the forum ....notice the author timidly couch his "senior" with an "uh", well,
lemme tell ya sonny, this senior is 13 goin on 72, and has no trouble gettin in and out of anywhere...altho sometimes
asked to slow down a bit...
and for yet another treat from our awesome autos, i set my rev limiter down to 5500rpm, and that amber/orange color
the tach lights up in is sure purdy....
Did the LC all the sudden become the car for "Driving Ms Daisy" or did I miss something?

hey lighten up guys, i wasn't dissing anyone of any age... mehran888 posted about getting an LC and mentioned parents and whether they would like the ride, and i assumed maybe they're not 'young' and that maybe getting in/out might also be a challenge. i'm no kid and freely admit that getting in and out of my LC is much more challenging than my suv!

And I didn't take offense on behalf of my parents either! But you do bring up a good point. To be honest, even I have trouble getting in and out of low cars due to my lower back. End of the day my parents won't spend much time in the LC (when it comes), but at least I can rest assured knowing that from an overall comfort standpoint I'm much better off than the 718 or 911s I was looking at.

Thanks, and your post reminds me of just how wonderfully comfortable the seats are in the LC! Would be nice if it had a seat bottom extender like my other car and previous car, but not a biggie. So once i'm IN the LC, it's great... but yeah, getting in and out... groans and grunts, lol heck the doors must way a few hundred pounds!

There's a rev limiter setting for the gauges or something?

72 here no problem getting in & out of my LC, in fact it is easier then my RCF I just traded in on the LC. If you want to see some issues, go to the Corvette Museum webcam & watch them getting in & out of the Corvettes for museum delivery.
