If I can see rain water beading on the paint then I figure it's not getting through to the paint. Frankly, I have zero chance of "protecting" mine from rain and on 2 accounts:
1. I live in the UK
2. My car lives outside
The beading indicates there's some wax on the surface, but when a bird leaves its calling card and it sits even on freshly waxed paint then bakes in the sun, the acids still make their way through and will eventually etch the CC. If yours lives outdoors, I'd keep it protected with ceramic or better yet graphene and refreshed with a spray after each wash.
so i took my wife's RX in for service today and they gave me a rental of the new NX in F sport trim. The seats in the NX F sport are the same as our LC sports seats (minus a few extra stitching). Makes me feel kind of cheated that the normal "touring" seats are one of a kind, specialty LC seats while the premium "sports seats" is some generic f sport crap with a few extra stiches.
Even the cooled seats on this new NX is just as strong as our LC ones due to having the exact same seats.

i mean look at these normal touring seats.. ive never seen them in any other lexussusususs. The way they wrap around the top of the shoulder area is really nice.
Nice, what color was it prior? I watched a YT vid on wrapping an LC and looked pretty intense. Have to take the whole car apart and put it back together. Reminded me of Humpty Dumpty lol
