Because it’s a bit boring... I wanted the flare yellow one with a white interior but that’s no longer an option (never an option on the convertible anyways).

The infrared looks almost exactly like Mazda soul red and I see a lot of those around. I don’t dislike the red, I just want something a bit more special.

And yes, I still get the heebee Jeebees seeing my brand new car disassembled like that. But I’m in good company as this guy primarily deals with exotics. The day I dropped off my car he had 3 brand new lambos waiting to be wrapped and all had less than 1000kms on it. This guy also costs double the other wrappers in my area at almost 10k. Other wrapped don’t disassemble much, instead they just cut into the grooves with a knife. My guy said it won’t last if you do that as the edges will peel away within a year or two.

1 month and almost 10k later, here's the results:

Wrap = perfect
reinstall = perfect, not a single rattle or detectable loss in structural integrity.
cost = meh, you gotta pay for quality i guess
worth it? YOU BET YOUR ***

Very Unique. I had mine fully wrapped in Xpel Ultimate Plus with Xpel Fusion Plus ceramic coating applied. I would give my job about a 85-90% grade. Their was some disassembly but not to the extent that your vehicle was taken apart.

That does look cool (literally and figuratively) I probably am similar to you that after a while I like to change the look of my car. Maybe change wheels or accessories. But DANG to tear the car apart and put on that PPF is a big ask. But kudos to you for jumping all in. Be curious how well it stands up to weather, washes, time, etc. Of course its 100% perfect on Day 1 lol. Get back to us day 1001

Bad…Looks like your installer did an excellent job in wrapping your LC. Color looks good and is totally unique. Like I said in my earlier post, it takes a special individual to have the guts to cover up InfraRed. And you have shown us that you are just that man to do it. You’ve created something totally special & more unique than any IS. So get yourself a tag to label your door jam and door plate ‘1 of 1’. We know it wasn’t free but you’ve earned it!
Now you've got yourself a !

Just curious - What is the expected lifespan for the $10K wrap?
