The wheels in Post #988 are the Base Cast 20" wheel used from 2018 to 2023. In 2024 Lexus discarded the base wheels and both the standard and optional wheels are Forged 21".
The Cast 20s were never popular. You can find 'em on eBay:

There were also chrome 20s that were offered as the base wheels, prior to the availability of the multispoke rims that are pictured on the Hybrid model. I am not sure of the year the changeover from the chrome to the newer multispoke design ocurred.(It might have been in 2022?)
At my time of ordering my 2021 (which arrived as a 2022), in Canada, it really wasn't a matter of popularity or not, relative to the acquisition of the 21s. There was no stand alone option available here to upgrade to the bigger rims for appearance, If one wanted to pony up an extra 13K for the performance package you could get the 21s, but if not buying the PP, you would automatically receive the 20s.
I was actually expecting my vehicle to have the chrome 20s and was happy when they arrived with the multispoke 20s. Don't get me wrong, I would have preferred 21s as stock equipment but that just wasn't a possibility at the time.
^^^^The only other 20" wheel offered for the LC500 was a forged wheel. It came in a polished version, not chrome, from MY18 to MY20. For MY21 and MY22 the same wheel was available in a Dark Graphite finish. It was not offered in 2023. These wheels were the base wheel on the LCh in US market, but optional on other LC vehicles.
Interesting and yes, that picture is of the alternate 20 inchers I was referring to.
The graphite, multispokes are also still supplied as base equipment for non PP 23s here in Canada.
20" forged wheels were not available in Finland and possibly some other countries. It can have something to do with salt used during winter to help on icy conditions. Some manufacturers do not want to give warranty for severe conditions for some wheel models. Especially chromed versions but not just chromed ones.
Not the kind of pic I would like to be posting. Happened 7-7-2023 Body shop says total
Not gonna give it a like because i dont like what happened to you, but thanks for sharing. Fight those insurance bastards for every penny. The LC is a rare bird, and they better compensate you approriately
