Picked her up after PPF by Diwal Auto Pro in St Augustine.
How often does one find a company that sets higher standards for their work than their customers do?

The most Japanese pic I've ever taken on a very smoky morning at Mt Baker (WA). Also just back from the Canadian Rockies so will post some from there too soon

Was at the NAIAS (aka Detroit Auto Show) yesterday (Monday) and saw this Bespoke build in Ultra White with a red interior.

You can see the optional dark chrome trim and dark wheels.
Very nice. 😊




Show runs until Sept 24.

Many manufacturers are back.

Yesterday was a perfect day to experience the displays. Not crowded at all - my hope attending on a Monday - so a great opportunity to relax when indulging in my auto obsession (like a “kid in a candy store”).

Went for passenger rides in every vehicle I could - EV’s, Ranger Raptors, Jeeps, RAM’s - including the Hummer EV with 1000 hp and 11,500 lb-ft torque! CRAZY!!!

Met and shared auto stories with a lot of lovely people.

Liked the interior comfort and look of this EV Lexus RZ450e Direct 4. It was a static display so no rides.





EV’s??? Hmmm?

Definitely a new type of vehicle driving experience compared to…

…this!

The Lexus display was part of a smaller manufacturer’ display in a corner of the building with other small displays from premium manufacturers.

Based on memory, there was a LX 600 F Sport, an ES 350 Ultra Premium, and a RX and NX (not certain).

The LC500 drew me to the area.

Many of the premium manufacturer’ vehicles in the small display area were locked (disappointment).
