Got a 2015 Challenger Scat Pack Shaker in Sublime Green Pearl to complete my skittles themed car collection I’ll post more details and pics in the Other Cars thread, but in summary it has a 6.4L V8 with 485 hp and 475 lb-ft and an 8spd auto which Car and Driver says propels it 0-60 in 4.4 and 12.9 in the 1/4 mile which I believe are very similar to the LC. It sounds like a beast and drives like one too, LOL
Since it cost $50K (in 2015), you should have paid like 30 grand, right?
Yes - it seems like prices on the Chargers and Challengers have begun to plummet recently so I couldn’t resist grabbing this one when I saw it listed for only $26.1K ($27.3K with dealer fluff fee).
Really? I was joking, thinking they'd cost more than new, but glad to read it's not the case. Ha ha. Sounds like an awesome buy. But compared to the Lexus, the interior borders on agricultural, no? At least the seats should be comfy, if they're the same as my brother's ex-GC SRT, which I believe they are. The engine is agricultural too, with iron block and pushrods, but sounds much better than the GM counterpart IMO. Enjoy it.

KK, here are some pics as promised after PPF, tinting, and ceramic coating. I also asked the shop to de-badge the "LC500" as it was a bit misaligned. Once I saw it, I could not unsee it , so it had to go!

Well now I want to see a picture of the misaligned badge. Got one? How could that have passed Lexus inspection
Oh I see. When I had my PPF done they sent the emblems to a local shop to have them laser cut new tape and an install template. Not sure if it would have been easier or cheaper to just put new emblems on or not.

Hmmmm…mine is straight AFAIK but I had previously given some thought to debadging the “LC500” as I used to be a prolific debadger in my youth and I always thought the “LC500” looked out of place and tacked on as an afterthought. Plus it seems like 99% of the general public have no clue what the car is so why should we help them? Gives off the “I’m the Lexus flagship b*tch - I shouldn’t have to wear a silly badge telling you what model I am - you should know what I am when you see me coming!” I’m assuming Ferrari didn’t put model badges on their flagship F40, F50, and Enzo models, or did they?
Anyways now that I see yours I think I will follow suit - looks very clean and elegant with just the “L” emblem. Plus it looks like an easy dental floss and hairdryer job to me. Do you see any evidence of paint damage from the removal? I don’t see any in the pic. Thanks for being a Guinea pig
If I end up with one of these, I'd immediately remove those ugly 'LC500' letters too. Car looks much cleaner that way. And if somebody doesn't know what it is, they could educate themselves with a picture, if they want. Ha ha.
