I saw you drive by me on route 64 the other day...I was in my cloudburst gray conv't pulling out of MacGregor West. Welcome to the LC 500 club..they are a great car!
Was about to back out of my spot at the Kobe when a gaggle of 6 attractive business women walked behind my car and around to the passenger side - I could hear them asking each other “what is it?” as they stared at my big banana A couple of them went back to the rear to look for badges and I could hear them say “it’s a Lexus!?!” One woman was staring inside my passenger window so I gave her a friendly wave and she motioned for me to put down my window. She told me how much they all loved my car and another lady wanted to know if it was a brand new Lexus model for 2024, etc. I answered all their questions and invited the two hottest ones to go for a ride - they said yes so I drove them back to my place on the beach and we proceeded to enjoy a “Kobe Trio” in the hot tub! J/K - all but the last sentence is true though

It was done by the shop, and they likely polished it even if something was visible after removal.
