There is a thread in the RCF section that pretty much explains why the XL is a better choice, if you're interested in handling. The RCF ships with SL rated tires. Here is one RCF owner who put on XLs and his experience.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rc-...port-4s-5.html

Note - I also have PS4S XLs on my LC with aftermarket 1" wider wheels in 255/40/21 and 295/35/21 sizes.

In studying the pics of the PSS5 tires fitted to the 2024 LC, they appear to be SL rated. If it were me, I'd choose have the XL rated PS4S over the SL rated PSS5. But again, that's me..

Thanks

BC Forged HCS 21S 21x9.5 F and 21 x 11.5 R
It's a 2-piece forged wheel - barrel is in gloss black, but forgot the name of the face. It's like a gunmetal, but I tried color matching it to the LC's grille

Picked up my '2024 bespoke coupe. Almost exactly 3 months from order to delivery. Blue Mica, 10 spoke wheels, semi-aniline black interior, glass roof, head-up display, Mark Levinson, all-weather package, speed-activated rear wing, and alcantara head liner. Very happy with my choices. I don't really like unpainted carbon fiber or alcantara seats. I also like being able to open the glass roof shade to let more light into the cabin. I do wish there were more interior color choices, although the black interior is very elegant. It's more of a very dark gray. The Lexus logo on the scuff plate is illuminated, which was I nice surprise; I thought that was an extra option.

Build quality is impeccable as expected. I haven't found any flaws. Engine sounds amazing of course, and the car handles great. It feels like the 'poor man's' Bentley Continental GT I was looking for (but possibly even better made and more reliable). Stunning vehicle.
