Remembered i snapped a pic when i stopped by...iPhone14PM. Slightly developed to show the pearl...
This is very similar to the 2020 IS in AZ I was close to buying...and what got me hooked on the NG color. It is obviously not a popular color... only about 9 total sold so far in the US 2024. I know it is a Japanese car but the "British Racing Green" floats my boat.

‘I had my dealer check on price via their Parts Dept for the 10 spoke wheels. Don’t recall the exact price, but even the salesman said “OUCH”, mighty pricy! Plus, Parts said they would be on a long back order. Thus, I opted to powder coat my OEM’s for now. Good luck.
I've heard a few stories about '24 factory orders where the 10 spoke wheels "were not available" as requested so the black flower petals were slapped on. If that happens with me, but the car does in fact get built and shipped, I'll just deal with getting rid of the flower petal wheels (even though several '24 owners seem to like them). Anyway, similar thing happened to me about a year and half ago regarding price quotes on wheels as I was considering a gently used 2021 mica gray at the local dealerhsip. It had black wheels and I was given a very high quote to replace them with brand new '18-'23 OEM wheels...plus, no movement on the sticker for the car (this was before the depreciation curve prices started to get a bit closer to historical average). Anyway, it killed the deal for me although I later learned there are decent sets of the '18-'23 wheels for about $2,000...much less than the $16k I was quoted at the dealer.
Which wheels did you have powder coated...the black alloy?

Many years ago when I relocated to HI for work I rented a Convertible while waiting for my personal vehicle. What a way to see/enjoy the Island; open top, cool breeze, . Unfortunately being young I didn't realize how much sun I was getting (similar to the tourist's backs who snorkel). Yep, no hat on. Wound up with sun poisoning so bad I was out for several days (scalp peeled so bad thought my hair would fall out). Lesson learned. While the suns intensity feels different where I'm at now, I usually only drive top down in the morning or evening (yeah, still no hat though). Regardless, always looking for reasons to take the Vert.
wowowow i thought you got the yellow one in v8 to replace your previous grey hybrid.
why did you change it up? just for the color
Change has been motivated by the rear steering wheel which I need to help me maneuver in my underground garage. Color was the bonus. It is my favorite color for the LC.
