Ordered Feb 3rd, arrived at dealership June 27th. Got it PPFd July 6th and 7th, took delivery today.. July 9th.
This thing is better than I'd expected. Really appreciate the newer 2024 tech and feels way more poised than the 2018 I drove a while back. Not to say any prior vehicles are bad, they're all amazing. But very happy with my 2024.
The interior (no pics yet) is the white/blue touring and I know will be a pain to keep clean, but it'll be worth it. Did the PPF at Insultint in St Catharines (Ontario Canada) and the guy there.. Jesse, did an amazing job. Everyone in the dealership said they would take their personal vehicle there. Surpassed my expectations by far. Full front, A pillar, scuff plates (in matte and gloss), and rocker area.
The USB looks different depending on type of lighting, outside/inside, and different angles. Some pictures I've taken make the paint look liquid. Others like a matchbox toy. Some light blue, some a deeper purple look. Loving it. Will put about 300km on it tomorrow (driving in the rain ) in a variety of places and speeds.. going to work and running errands.
Goes in for ceramic on Wednesday evening and I'll pick it up Thursday evening or Friday morning. After that, I hope to never let it see rain again . Thanks to everyone for their help and guidance in getting me here!
Now time to find the forums when ML configuration and a few other useful topics were discussed.-

Looks amazing, congrats! Very similar to the build I am waiting so impatiently to be delivered. My car has been at port for over 2 weeks now and doesn't even have any port options to wait on. WAAHHH
If all goes well and I get delivery this weekend (Dealer delivery tracker shows ETA to be on a truck for delivery between 7/8-7/10 for arrival at dealership by 7/14) then I'll have the car for a glorious 4-5 days before it goes for FULL PPF, Ceramic, and tints on the 19th. That'll be another miserable week until I get it back on the 26th!

Waiting, in order of pain level (yes, very "developed world" problems):
The very last 24 hours
The 10 days between visiting it when it arrives at the dealership and taking delivery
The wait for corporate office to approve it once Canada has submitted it
Waiting for the build status to change to "queued"
The 2 day PPF
The shipping wait
Waiting for status to change from "queued" to shipped

I can relate to both your situations! I took delivery from the dealership on July 1st (requested no dealer wash) and had an evening of driving local roads, playing with settings, etc. before going straight in the next day for full PPF, ceramic, and tint. Was tough to separate though July 4th vacation was a nice distraction. Just picked her back up yesterday. The wait will be worth it!

I haven't had much time to drive the LC lately due to work and when I do, I hardly post pictures as I'm too busy enjoying the drive (lol)
Here's a few from a week or two ago, nothing fancy, just quick cell phone photos.
Nice pics! I guess it's good to have a Lexus to drive when your BMW is in the shop...unfortunately, the high-pressure fuel pump in my 2009 BMW M-Sport convertible failed SEVEN times in 8 years (a known issue that BMW refused to acknowledge or issue a recall on). However, I am grateful I had such a terrible experience with my BMW or else I might be driving an M8 now (vs. a '23 LC 500 convertible which is absolutely bulletproof).
