I noticed that the CF rear spoiler is $1000. They look pretty cool and my car has the CF Roof option. Does anyone have an idea if you need the dealership to install our not?

I believe that this spoiler is incompatible for LCs that have the performance package.
i doubt it's incompatible since it's so small and the perf/dyn handling motorized wing is inset into the trunk more, but it would be kinda dumb to have both.

The spoiler IS INCOMPATIBLE with the LCs that have the active rear spoiler. I know this from first hand experience. I had ordered this when I picked up my LC new from the dealer and when it came in we (myself and the dealer) realized it interfered with the active spoiler.

You may be right, but I recall reading in a forum that an LC owner with the performance package installed this cf rear spoiler and it interfered with the front center area of the motorized rear wing. Plus like you said, it doesn’t look that good with both installed in my opinion.
I have the spoiler on my LC, it does install with self adhesive tape, but it also has four mounting holes that are drilled into the trunk lid using a template.

Absolutely. The carbon fiber rear lip spoiler matched the front lower lip carbon fiber insert perfectly. I saw this setup at a show in Long Beach, CA on a LC in 2018 and it looked great, both when the active spoiler was up and especially when it was retracted. Understand, it was not the Lexus part.
Honestly, both the active spoiler and/or the lip spoiler have almost zero real world aerodynamic effect at the speeds we drive 99.9% of the time. They are really there for the 'look' they impart and I happen to like that look. Here is a photo.
so the one in that picture does not impede on the mechanical 'wing' right, but the lexus one does? i take your word for it if you tried, but it seems odd because the lexus one is so minimal (much smaller than the one in your pic), but maybe it's lexus intended placement that's the issue?
