Interesting to see this. What else are you looking to do with the interior?

One change I would make to the LC would be nice matte carbon fiber trim pieces like on our McLarens. Steering wheel (just trim not the whole wheel my preference), large shift paddles that feel delicious to fingertips, door switches, and the area around the shifter.

The stock wheel has super cheap plastic that does bug me. Tap on that sorta square area in bottom spoke of the stock wheel. Cheap as a McDonalds Happy meal prize.

Such trim on a McLaren is a little under $4,000 as their first level carbon interior option. So Lexus ought to be able to do a similar job for $1200. Would not have to have that top quality of the exotics to still be very nice. And appropriate to the spirit of the car.

Bugs me to have only the door sills in carbon, or only the roof. Either none or a theme.

There are two places that I've come across, one of which have done work on some parts for me.

Exotic Car Gear -> this place is solid. They are located in PA and did some top notch work on a forged carbon fiber shift **** and also a forged carbon reskin on a Lexon spoiler extender piece. I wanted to send them the steering wheel to do but it is about a 5 week turn around time for that one and I am a bit hesitant to leave an immobile car in my garage for that long. If memory serves ...i think it was about 8-900 to wrap the wheel.

The other option I was looking at was an instagram vendor (Elvin_6188) that has done a LOT of Lexus wheels and parts. I think he is based out of the Philippines. The price was about $1500 for a CF wheel, but that includes the wheel (so you don't have to send out a core).

Hope that helps!

I love the mirrored taillights, but the material on top of them is surprising. Tap on that too.

There are so many decisions that have been made as to materials and design, some are going to be a little different in result than others. But on the steering wheel, shift lever, door handles, anything you touch, needs to be nice.
