Has anyone figured out how to retrofit the OEM active spoiler on to LCs without the performance package?
I’ve found a trunk lid from a performance package on eBay for $3k. Wondering if it’s plug-n-play.

 

I'm fairly certain that the trunk and active spoiler would be a bolt on - and - I can't imagine the wiring harnesses would be different.

BUT

There is no location for the spoiler button (directly rearward of the HOLD button). See photos below:

 

true, I wonder if I can add it to left side of the steering wheel.

 

the car may 'know' if it's not a perf/dyn pkg model and still not raise/lower the spoiler. it does it automatically normally going up at ~50 and back down when you slow to ~20 i think.
