Default Throttle Controller?

Has anyone done a throttle controller on their LC? Tried searching but didn't find any results. I did it on another car and it transformed the acceleration; I've found the initial throttle press in the LC doesn't go very far, and I feel a throttle controller would change that. Looking at the Pedal Commander, and they make it for the LC500.

Thanks!

While I don't have an LC, the same "pedal lag" is apparent on the RCF as well. I also went with the PC and love it, even though it doesn't really do anything other than trick the ecu into thinking you're inputting more throttle than you actually are, it has made the driving experience much better.

Thank you, that's exactly what it did on my other car (A Jeep Wrangler, ha!). Apparently manufacturers program it that way now for fuel economy, but I find it really changes the driving experience.

I believe there's a few out there. Apexi (Tom's) makes one:

Thanks - I read a bad review about them though so I think I'll stick with Pedal Commander.

Isn't this one of the things Sport mode does? As compared to Eco?

Yes, but there's something to be said about driving around town in comfort mode and having a responsive throttle.

As I recall you can customize your settings, and maybe have cake and eat it too?

Yeah the PC has Sport+ as well as Eco modes built in, although I've never used Eco lol.

I have the Apexi throttle controller for my LC. It is a relatively cheap, easy to install, and reversible modification that makes a big difference in pedal feel and response. While it offers no real performance advantage, it does make the car more fun to drive. I have had it for nearly two years and have had no issues. All positives here!

Well I got the pedal commander and so far I'm not a fan. It makes the throttle pedal super twitchy, especially when you're coming off throttle; has made me car sick a couple of times. I've tried adjusting modes and sensitivity but no dice. I've left it on bypass for now. Might try it again later but so far I'm not impressed.

Just create a custom drive mode. No need for these gadgets on an LC. This is not a honda civic.
