Default Hope I didn't break it

Pulling in my garage and was in a big hurry. Pressed the park brake button and turned off the ignition at almost the same moment. Now displays ""EBP Activation stopped incompletely" See dealer. Called dealer and they said if the park brake still works the car can be safely driven to bring it in next week and they could quickly repair it. I'm thinking it is just a code and I just need to buy a cheaper reader and clear the code myself as it is about 100 miles to the nearest dealer. Any advice? TIA

Yes do exactly that. Get a Bluetooth code reader, scan the code and then clear the code. Pretty certain you did no damage. The process was just incomplete.

Show us pictures of your ride !!!

Talking Control Module

Got to the dealer and the code wouldn't clear. There was a service bulletin out on it and the dealer replaced it in 20 minutes. Yeah, Flow Lexus of Winston.

I now see the post title is 'Control Module" so guess that's it.

Default Yes

Sorry guys, yes it was the control module. Dealer said that the service bulletin would have most likely been a recall had more LC's been made. I don't know about that? BTW, I despise vague posts......and then I go make one.

How do you know if you need your control module repaired? I have a 2018 LC500.

Default Epb

The warning yellow triangle is on and park brake light is flashing. Everything works as it should but that message I posted above is displayed when ignition is turned off. Call your dealer and ask about the service bulletin on the EPB. Don't know if it covers all years.
