Default Making the LC500 more livable/less annoying

Many of you have asked questions in general about some of the things I covered in this video. So I decided to discuss some of the things I've done to my LC to make it more livable. I hope some of you can get a thing or two from it. If there's anything i didn't provide links to in the description of the video, feel free to ask. Enjoy!

that felt loop is a great idea! How does that pro clip mount? it looks like it damages the trim piece.

Also i love that body kit!

I purchased that clip for my LC previously. No damage at all. See the instruction sheet below.

Literally just looked up my old Club Lexus Sign on from maybe decade ago. So I could ask what people are using for a phone mount since I recently purchased a 2022 LC500 vert and there's no good place to put the phone or even mount. I Just ordered the phone mount from the video and the same holder. Thanks for posting that Guanche2k9. Anyone care to chime in on any wireless Android Auto options out there instead of having to plug in every time?

Thanks In Advance

Can you talk about wiring the Cobra into the mirror? Is there a connector? What did that involve or is it just plug and play (doubtful)?

Great thing about the LC, I could just put the phone away in the console and the infotainment system would do everything.

I do wish Carplay had a weather radar app. That was the only time I ever needed to actually touch my phone.

There's a wire connector in the rear of the mirror. You have to remove/slide off a couple of covers and then you'll have access to the connectors. I remember having found a diagram somewhere for the positive and ground connections, and it was just as simple as inserting the wires into the female connectors. The only word of warning though, is that make sure to wire it correctly, because you don't want to be short circuiting anything in that connector, cause then all your electronics to the mirror, are done.

This post has some good instructions on how to do it:

For the road scout, does the mount hold up well or do you have to reattach it constantly?

It held up well for the first 1.5yrs - 2 yrs. Then started falling. I cleaned the suction cup a bit and put it in boiling water to loosen up the cup and make it flexible again, and it was better. I then tinted my windshield, and for whatever reason, now it's been back to sticking with no issues.
