What wasn't reported in the first post is that all Toyota sales were down. And, we all know know that Toyota interrupted the LC line due to parts issues. The whole industry has problems. There was an article in the WSJ this morning about GM building 100,000 vehicles in June short parts and set them aside. IMO, June is not a good barometer to judge the auto industry's performance.

its worse than that. just saw a random car wizard vid where he talked about a recent trip he took to the east coast. which necessitated him getting a rental for the duration. he ended up getting a 2022 chevy malibu, which for example had heated & cooled seats with the full entails - but it was inoperable because the chip used to control them was never installed due to the chip shortage. they left the motor in the seat as well as a clickable button to operate the functions. but they're fully inoperable without the chip lol.

also, likely explains why the bridgestone potenza (the one with the L's embossed ) is no whereto be found;
they claim they got the touranza but its like no one has ever heard of the potenza anymore ... temporarily gone as well

That makes sense for the Inspiration's, where I live, we have a new 22 LC vert that after many weeks remains unsold white/tan (and I believe it can be had at ~MSRP). There are also others in the SE US that remain unsold. Maybe it's time for some discounts.
