Based on your avatar I see a black vert, do you no longer have the liquid platinum vert, or did I credit the picture in my Liquid Platinum thread to the wrong member?

Just so ya'll know, the jump point under the hood is in case you can't open the trunk because of a dead battery. There is an emergency truck release behind the center portion of the rear seat.

Caviar is gorgeous, nice. You actually commented on the pic in a quote (the car belongs to tiddjc), will correct the other post, thanks.

I did not say sun, I said heat. My garage is not air conditioned. Is yours?

I think it depends on how many smart activities are going on in your vehicle and proximity to your keyfob. My 2013 Tundra is parked outside 24/7. Never any battery issues. My 2013 LS is always garaged 150’ away from house; battery lasted 8 yrs. My 2013 GS is always garaged off kitchen; battery died in 3-4 yrs. No issue with the LC which is parked 150' from house, aside from fact that battery was dead 7 days after delivery. Go figure.

your LC is not in a garage? any cover? i don't think you got your '18 LC new, is that right? maybe it sat for a while before you bought it.

I should switch him rides. The number 13 is my lucky number. Sports number, son graduated HS in 2013, have tattoo of the number 13, and fav sports person Dan Marino...13

Come on Bit... Keep up! LC was new when I purchased it. And she sits beside LS. And yes, I assumed it sat at the port for a while but battery still shud not have died in 7 days. And yes 2013 was a good year in the Stock MKT. It was also year, I was totally free & clear.

ah right, we share appreciating buying new cars.

and definitely battery shouldn't have been dead... assume replaced under warranty? did you have to have the car towed?

No, I was able to get it to start with charger and returned to Dealer.

I know right. I bought it off a family friend for 10k last year. Has 209k miles and runs like a champ. So smooth and powerful. They were built like tanks but ride like pillows. Had a few people drive by and want to buy it from me. Never took it off road but hear its one of the best (if not best) OR vehicle ever made. Even has a backup cam which in 2005 was a big deal lol
