Battery

Well that is if you leave your LC in the sun I don't hardly drive mine in this AZ heat and always have it garaged. I mostly drive it outside the months of May-August.. I have an 05' LX460 that sits in the sun and the battery is new and still hasn't died. I think part is due to the vehicle and situation.

Just so ya'll know, the jump point under the hood is in case you can't open the trunk because of a dead battery. There is an emergency truck release behind the center portion of the rear seat.

I think it depends on how many smart activities are going on in your vehicle and proximity to your keyfob. My 2013 Tundra is parked outside 24/7. Never any battery issues. My 2013 LS is always garaged 150’ away from house; battery lasted 8 yrs. My 2013 GS is always garaged off kitchen; battery died in 3-4 yrs. No issue with the LC which is parked 150' from house, aside from fact that battery was dead 7 days after delivery. Go figure.

Come on Bit... Keep up! LC was new when I purchased it. And she sits beside LS. And yes, I assumed it sat at the port for a while but battery still shud not have died in 7 days. And yes 2013 was a good year in the Stock MKT. It was also year, I was totally free & clear.

and definitely battery shouldn't have been dead... assume replaced under warranty? did you have to have the car towed?

I know right. I bought it off a family friend for 10k last year. Has 209k miles and runs like a champ. So smooth and powerful. They were built like tanks but ride like pillows. Had a few people drive by and want to buy it from me. Never took it off road but hear its one of the best (if not best) OR vehicle ever made. Even has a backup cam which in 2005 was a big deal lol
