FLBill...Somebody had to pay Retail for you to buy used...I am kinda afraid of used. I guess I was turned off with the purchase of my first car out of college. A 1972 Olds
Cutlass Supreme. It looked good when I bought it. Come to find out the underbody and panels were totally rusted out. So I've never gone that route since! I was young and dumb. But I am certain nothing like that will ever happen to you in an LC. Congrats!

I have a neighbor who spoils his young daughter with uber expensive cars and she's still in college, just wish she took better care of them as whenever she visits, they've always been filthy and have good sized door dings...kinda breaks my heart to see such nice machines being treated this way ugh.

I'm still happy with my deal. Last year, right when the used car prices started taking off, a 3 year old LC, but only 18k miles. And it LOOKED and ran like it. Basically new. Still under factory warranty which allowed me to still get the cheapest Factory extended warranty in the country, 7 more years bumper to bumper, for $3k.
Somehow, I managed to get them to take 5k off their asking price, which more than paid for the extended warranty and got me in my mind an essentially new LC for 1/4 Off the New price.
A year and 2k miles later and I'm sure I could sell it for at least what I paid for it. If I wanted to sell, which I don't.
THAT'S My Kind of LC deal.

Bruce...We’ve all been conscientious bout spending and managing our finances. We’ve made sacrifices to get to where we are today. It wasn’t always easy. But now since 'our runways are getting shorter', I am gonna try to bless myself with anything that I want. For what is the point in accumulating money if you never do anything with it?

Very nice way with words if you don't mind me saying, and absolutely spot on that "our runways are getting shorter".

You make a great point, and your right, the 1st owner purchased at MSRP or negotiated a lessor value with the dealer. That said, I still hate paying retail for anything. I picked up my LC for $80k or $87k out the door. The sticker was $105.6k and the vehicle only had a little over 3k on the odometer. It still had and has the new car smell and it came with Paint Protection Film as well. I took a gamble flying one way to purchase a vehicle sight unseen, but my purchase turned out to be a good one and I’m happy to own such a quality vehicle.

new or used doesnt matter. Majority of that sc430 community is all used, only a very few original owners are still around. I got a feeling sooner or later our LC community will be the same.

Enjoy what you have gentlemen! she is quite special.

p.s. and you short runway guys, i salute you and thank you for all your contributions to your respective countries and communities. This LC is well deserved after all your years of hardwork.

when the LC500 first came out I was blown away and if I had the money to buy it, I would have bought it right away when it came out (I was 37). Now I am 42 and finally able to afford it so here I am!

Anyone who is financially able to buy one of these cars under FORTY is living large. Its gotta be an awesome feeling to be pushing this machine like a ROCKSTAR.

I would guess most vehicles over the price of 100k are owned by 50 plus people. Due to cost not the type/style of it. I know I couldn't have afforded one when I was 20-40 I got .9 interest rate so I didn't put down much money or use cash. I took the cash and used to flip houses. More than doubled my money in 8 months Only part that sucks is my LC payment is more than my house payment lol
