Default Liquid Platinum

Does anyone know the reason why LP was discontinued for MY 22 for the LC, trying to ascertain if it was a supply issue or was Lexus was just trying to reduce the # of colors offered etc.? Hoping to see it back on the LC again as it's the only true silver they've offered on it (Atomic Silver is something completely different especially when seen side/side).

The 22 Inspiration model has LP they call it Iridium.Maybe they stopped offering LP on the other models to make it exclusive to the Inspiration series.

Thank you, I had no idea. Hope they bring it back for '23. I had some MB's in iridium metallic, a very nice silver., one of my favorites

I have to see the Iridium in person to see if it’s any more special than the lackluster Platinum Silver.

I think a classic silver is hard to beat plus doesn't show scratches and LP is just that, but you might like the iridium if you're looking for a bit more pop, and it's anything like MB's version, it should be just a tad darker with more metallic.

There's member here tidjdc with a 21 vert in LP with a black top and it's stunning, so much crisper/brighter than AS, and looks even better with a red/black interior vs AS, here's pic:

not bad! usually not a fan of silver as its a bit generic but that actually looks very mechanical, and purpose built.

Nicecar i thought you already placed an order for your LC? you still debating colors?

My dealership here in SW FL said they were not able to order 22's any further unless it's a Bespoke. Looking froward to placing an order for a 23 as soon as they give me the green light, and hopefully iridium or LP will be an option, along with wishful thinking: new for '23 360 view!

Probably The Most Likely color for today's average imbicilic driver to Plow Right Into the Rear of.
Hope you don't mind Perpetually keeping 1 eye on your rearview mirror.

I tried to make a deal on the only Liquid Platinum/Red leather convertible specimen in the US when they first came out but the dealer in Alabama didn't want to budge off MSRP.

I am just as happy with my white/red and saved a few grand.
