I've read it's about 3 cards thick so that's how much space you'd need

same size as a credit card. About 3 cards thick.
It’s the only thing I use. Next car I purchase will have to have key card or even better a phone key. I’m sick of the key fob. So 1990. And they get bigger and heavier every new model.

Key card sounds great ..... except I haven't carried a wallet in the last 50 years.

There's a little cover on one end you just pull it off and pull the battery out and replace it then slide the cover back on. Takes 10 seconds.

I have a separate credit card wallet/holder that I keep in my car and then take it with me when I get to my destination that I might need a credit card but under normal circumstances I only carry cash on my person....wallets are too bulky.

Same here; money clip. License, one CC and some small bills front pocket. And with the Phone, probably don't need the physical CC anymore. Now if my State can get with the digital License.

Since I drive two vehicles, that wouldn't work for me
