So I guess it is confirmed that the LC can work with Lexus card key considering this post for a used 2020 LC that is for sale in Japan (picture attached)
I also found someone in Japan that sells these keys used for approx $30-40
The question is… where can I find the FCC ID (transmitter model) to make sure that it match my car FCC ID? I opened the key and it is no where to be found.

If you manage to figure this out I say we try to organize a group buy - I bet we can easily get 10 people to join in on a group buy for both the keys and the programming.
does the 18/19 model not come with the wallet card key? mine came w/ 1 card key and 2 normal keys. not sure wtf that blob is on the right though, is that a remote starter fob? it looks like it even has a remote function for the top.
just searched lexus forums and found this info. The card key FCC ID has to match the key
heres my card key FCC ID

Hi all,
Luckily for the toyota land cruiser forums, they have been having issues finding a smart key for their 2020+ land cruiser heritage model which has the same FCC ID as our 4th gen RX350s. I decided to take a small leap and buy the key in hoping it works, and it did.
Here are the part numbers I've ordered.
89904-48Q90 Smart key69515-30350 Physical Key Here is the pic of the keys. They had no issues programming it at all. Nice and easy.
i dont think so. it would still need to be programmed with the car, you wouldnt be able to randomly go up to an unprogrammed car w/ the exact same FCC ID.
But if you guys DO want a card key, you need to buy an FCC ID that matches mine and then program it with techstream software.
i woudlnt trust stupid ebay to know if its compatible or not. im pretty sure it'll work just fine. its a matter of programming it w/ the techstream software.
I had card keys for all of IS350's and love it because if I have my wallet I have my key. Super slick. There is no button on it. Programming was a few hundred dollars. I also remember something that once a key is paired with a car you can't pair it with a different car but I'm not sure I believe that.
When I got my LC I went around and around with a few service advisors and the answer was consistently that there is no key card available for my 2019 IS LC and that has been reaffirmed everywhere I have looked.

Ok so it seems that the FCC ID Is not necessarily the same for all LC’s worldwide. If that is the case, then buying a random card key won’t make the magic work.
Take this Land Cruiser forum post as an example (they call it LC200) it didn’t work for everyone unless the FCC ID that came with the car match the one on the card key http://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lexu...1164849/page-8
moving forward, can you please advise what is the techstream software and is it available for anyone to download?
Also, the question that still remains since the first post is.. How can I know my remote control FCC ID in order to get a matching card key? I couldn’t find it anywhere
