Convertibles, mostly…
First-gen S2000 in red: amazing shifter, super high redline, so much fun to drive!
Second-gen S2000, also in red. I added a turbo to this one, which gave it some much needed torque and sounded incredible. Still really miss this one.
CTS-V wagon with the 6 speed manual. Practicality without losing fun. This car was awesome: sounded so good, was incredibly solid and really well built. Added an exhaust and intake which really made the supercharger sing.
Since I love convertibles and Italian things, I bought a Fiat 500 Abarth convertible. It was such a riot: snarling popping tiny fun. I’ve never had so much fun driving slowly!
Continuing the Italian trend, I bought an Alfa Romeo 4C, which is a carbon fiber tubbed mini supercar. It’s Italian in all the best ways. I got a Giulia Quadrifoglio to join it, which sadly got totaled during the pandemic.
I currently have an Alfa Romeo 4C for weekends & track days, with the LC as my daily. We just got a Hyundai Ioniq5 as our first electric and I have to say it’s fantastic. Really easy to drive, quiet, practical and surprisingly fun!

I’ve had many sports cars over the years, but one stands out.
2005 35th Anniversary Edition 350Z. I was the original owner. I sold this 17 year old car in mint condition last summer with 67K mileage.
I loved this car…not the fastest, definitely not the most comfortable. It felt like driving a go cart…you feel every bump on the road. But damn was this car responsive and fun to drive.
