It sold, not sure how much. $10,000-$15,000 would be a great deal but you would be buying a car with possibly almost no resale value, it can be considered totaled or get a salvage title in certain states from extensive hail damage which takes so much value away and in some cases it can be difficult to insure too. It would be something I would just keep for a very long time and see if I could find a way to fix the hail damage for not too much money, likely get body panels from other salvaged cars that were not damaged and have them repainted to the original color if they were different colors.

Deals like this are made on buying, not selling. It depends how much I could buy the vehicle for. I see vehicles including Lexus marketing with salvage titles for half of the market value often on autotrader, autotempest, craigslist. Salvage does not scare me if they are fixed and there is no damage to body frames. It also depends how car was maintained. Salvage, if cosmetic in nature, should be easily repairable and not as costly. If I bought the vehicle at $65K and spend $15K to repair the body, I would be out $80K before taxes. Question is would the market bear a salvage titled LC500 for $90K?
