Hey guys

I hate to have blank buttons on my cars, and the LC performance package has one for unknown reason next to the HUD/trunk/gas buttons

Today I was watching a video on youtube and the car they were test driving has this button filled (pic attached)

Can you please advise what is that button for? and I will appreciate if someone can provide me the part# as well so I can replace the blank one I have

Actually that mystery button appears in the 2019 and 2020 brochures. I have done a bit of research in trying to find out what the heck the button is, and have come up empty.

But also missing the entire door/storage cubby below those buttons on mine...

 

Same here. I did an extensive research and couldn't find any information about it even in car parts websites.

Any idea where to find OEM quality generic stickers that I can put on this blank button?

Some how we need to grab the attention of our friends in the right hand drive neighborhoods. North1star, and you message the person who posted the video? (I'd be happy to if I knew the publisher)

Would't it be nice if we could fill it with a button that could be programmed to something of our choice such as a shortcut to a menu option...maybe to turn my passengers seat warmer on so she doesn't have to go into the encyclopedia to warm her tush...

This is the first Lexus I can remember the didn't have a shortcut menu button available.

But my guess is that the button turns on/off the front facing camera. Very popular item in vehicles in Asian country's

 

On thinking further on this in the brochure it only appears on 500h models.
