Default Pop up hood

hello guys
i have bought LC500 from US and shipped it to dubai , iv bought most parts .
i have question about the PUH system , is there any way to fix it ,. i have asked the dealer and they said it needs to be replaced .
its very costly , any one can help if there is a way which i can fix .




iv read that once it operates it can not be reused .

what the hell happened to the poor car?

We don't know too much about this model. It is not very common. You might have to ask some local mechanics and see what they think.

its probably like the airbag system have to replace the parts

The explosive charges have deployed. I guess there is some way to fasten it back down, but not legally. And I’d sure think they have not made it easy.

I would be curious to know if we can disable those canisters so a finder-bender doesn't cause so much damage. They are there to soften the impact in case it was a pedestrian.

It doesn't look like too much damage. But, if you were to buy all of the parts individually, from the dealer, It would probably cost at least a half million dollars to build the car sans labor. Did the U.S. insurance company total the car?
