The LFA owners e-mail just pinged me about this. Looks like Lexus is trying to drive up the hype!
The best part about this LC Convertible is that 100% of the auction price will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
The 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible will be equipped with unique features like:
Stunning Structural Blue Paint
VIN number ending in "100001"
471-horsepower naturally aspirated V8 engine
21" Liquid graphite forged wheels with gloss black accents
Blue brake calipers
Liquid Platinum accents on headlamps, taillamps, side air intake and side mirrors
Carbon-fiber scuff plates
Additional exclusive experiences will be announced prior to the auction.

I watched the auction and they kept showing one bidder, Rick Hendrick (NASCAR team owner and car dealer) and someone in the crowd. In the end I recognized the high bidder... Kent Stevinson, owns multiple dealerships in Colorado inc Lexus

Auction over. The top seller was VIN 001 for the first C8 Corvette @ $3 Million. The LC was in 2nd place for most money @ $2 Million. Both were charity cars. None of the money went to Barrett-Jackson, GM or Toyota.
Rick Hendrick was the top bidder for the Vette.
