He is using the stock auto tranny, but I think when his power increases he is going to have a heavy duty racing tranny installed(built/ fortified auto).

Thanks everyone for the compliments, the 463rwhp was achieved on 3rd gear. Our 1:1 gear ratio is 4th, so the hp# could have been higher. I have a 3" custom exhaust, but the muffler is Greddy and is a bit restrictive (less than 3"). I've already ordered a 80mm (3.1") Blitz NurSpec muffler. It should give me another 10-15whp more. Thus, with the new muffler and on 4th gear, It should dyno around 480whp. If I use full C-16, we estimate over 500+whp easily at about 22psi, but we didn't want to do that yet. The tranny needs to be built. I'm on stock tranny with just a valve body upgrade. The tranny is in working progress as we speak . I will be taking more vids. of some tire smoking, dounut making, WOT drive-by shots very soon. Will keep everyone up to date.

Later,
Good observation Thomson. At this period in time the 440cc H.I. injectors are the biggest there is for the IS300, until you go stand alone (w/Haltec will be using 720cc). I'm maxed out on hp on pump gas . But at this stage in my car, the max whp on pump gas is in parallel to the amt. of hp that my tranny can handle so it's fine. As soon as the tranny upgrade is done, C-16 or Cam2 would be used more often, and Haltec and full internals are on sched. of projects after end of next season. My A/F is fine through out the entire rpm range 12:1 . Thanks for your concern and advice.

Well, when I'm finally finished (which would be never), by the end of next season about this time of the year, full internals, blueprint & balance engine, race built tranny, bullet-proof the rear, and with stand alone (most likely Haltec), the rwhp would be around 750rwhp. Then I would stop. (no sense doing more for me-even at over 450whp it's scary). Hey DrRick, just right click and save. Enjoy the vids.

Yeah that is nice, here is a link to a 2JZ-GE, NA-T(same as isman), that has about 800RWHP(without NOS). He ran 9.98@137 in the 1320.

It changes regularly but at the moment nothing...well for me nothing('01 Mazda B3000 Pickup, Toyota Camry)... looking for some new stuff though ... as soon as some W211 E55's hit the auctions I'll be getting one of those.

Hey

ISMAN awesome job, your car is amazing and much handle like a animal! (i like drag racing but road racing is in my blood).

Also if you really want to look at the true potential of the 2JZ-GTE you have to look at Import drag racing in the Pro class, built 2JZ-GTEs can push upwards of 1400HP (grant downings tundra with a built 2JZ dynoed at 1200HP before the wheels started to spin on the dyno, the engine is good for 1350+HP).

Or look to the street tire class the Titan Motorsports car has been dynoed at 1115HP or the other many 800+HP Supras.

Isman your 2JZ should handle that 750HP pretty well! make you take lots of picks and video as the build up goes on!

keep up the good work.
