I have watched a lot of videos and read a bunch of articles on how to use your Android phone for navigation in a GX460. None of the instructions worked and I do not want to add hardware just to have Google Maps or Waze on my Nav screen. I purchased my 2020 GX460 Premium in 2020 and have noticed lately that my OEM navigation system is not very accurate. I would rather not pay for an update. On long multi day trips I have put my Garmin on the Dash or my Samsung in the cup holder but both of those are inconvenient and messy. I watch the YouTube videos and they just plug in their phones and hit a few buttons and they have their phone maps on the Nav screen and the sound coming through the vehicle speakers. I have purchased new cable for the phone to plug into the USB ports but that doesn't give me anything. If anyone has any advise on how I can use my Samsung phone with Android Auto in my GX460, I'd be happy to know how. I've read allot of threads on this subject here but they mostly deal with adding hardware.
