XM Radio question to VIDEONAVI
I know VideoNavi did this by using pioneer parts to integrate his xm radio in to factry navigation. I wos wondering if i can do the same on 99 GS400 with factry navi and no nak (pioneer i bolive) I also have gex700tv to pact video in to my screen.My xm equipment is 903xm from pioneer universal tuner. Need some advice from someone who done that or maybe eavenb from Mr. VideoNavi him self. My main concerns are if i can do video with master unit from pioneer and if all my factry options stay like my radio valoume concrols and navi cantrols ac controls etc... Will like to know what exectly pioneer av unit will give me and wood i be able to insert sound directly with out any fm modulators. Any help will be gladly apreciated

The RGB navigation input plug and display output plug of the Pioneer GEX-P7000TV are the same as on the Pioneer Audio Video Master units (AVM-P7000, AVM-P8000 and AVM-P9000). So you could use the PBA-N1 connected to a Audio Video Master unit (AVM) instead of the GEX-P7000TV or in combination with the GEX-P7000TV following Pioneer's wiring instructions. When a Pioneer GEX-P900XM or GEX-P910XM are connected to the AVM you will get XM on your navigation screen along with the GUI interface of the AVMs.
Get the picture (so to speak)?
As for audio that is a whole other issue. It involves getting audio out of the IP-Bus and into your factory system - not easy.

Thank you for your replay.Ok now if i do get one of the av master from pioneer because i really want my xm to be integrated with my factry navi. I do have some installation experience so i want to try doing this. What is gui interface if you don't mind me asking. And the most important how do i get oudio out the ip box in to my stereo. Pleas explain litle more if you can. Or maybe you know of some website i can purchase wiring diagram on how to wire everything up what i was talking about. Please let me know wood i need any extra parts then the av from pioneer. And doseit mater with one is it the 7000 8000 or 9000. let me know.
