I haven't seen it done, but I did see someone selling a rear armrest with a DVD player already in it about 6 mos ago on EBAY.

Helps you out a ton don't it????

BTW, what are you trying to do on the back of the seats?

The Lexus Grill "How To" was taken from BananaGS. The owner of LexusGrill (Enginyr) was banned from CL a long time ago for doing un-ethical things. I hope he has permission from BananaGS to post that DVD armrest on his sight.

BananaGS offered it for sale on the CL marketplace a long time ago, so I won't be surprised if he put it up on Ebay.

Instead of putting the PS2 in the arm rest, just put it behind the armrest so it is accessible when you fold it down. You can stuff the controllers back there too. Just cut open the leather behind the armrest seat back and build a box to house the player and controllers. I was going to do this a long time ago, but my daughter prefers the old Nintendo, so I canned the project and mounted the Nintendo in the floor.

Woe, didn't know you committed to do it already. One concern is I didn't see any accomodations for cooling, both intake in the lower front and exhaust in the rear around the fan area.

I know your not done, so I hope your going to allow for this.

Good progress so far though.

I only have XBOXes and a Playstation One so I can't speak on PS2; but the XBOX gets so HOT is heats up my bedroom to the point that you would swear the heater was on. The one in the living room is so warm that it heats everything in the entertainment center. Even the candles change texture.

You REALLY want to consider a way to let the PS2 vent. Maybe you can keep the other side exposed like the front will be exposed. Or maybe moutning it in the trunk???
