I was just curious to see if anyone uses a handheld scanner to listen in on police/emergency/weather/CB and etc.
If you have one, what do you use? which scanner is the best? is it worth it?

I use a scanner in both my SC400 and LS400 all the time. I have several Radio Shack models, like the
Pro-62, Pro-95, etc., and they all work well just using the rubber ducky antenna that comes with the scanner.
I use the cup holder in the center console of the SC400 to hold the scanner and on the LS400 I tuck it into
the open area in the door panel where you pull the door shut. It fits tightly there.
Scanners go on sale all the time at Radio Shack, and you can also check e-bay. Just make sure you get
one that can receive the frequencies used in your area.
