Did you ever find out if someone was using your images from there on THEIR website? (I read something about it in another post here).

Unhappy nav

the diagnostic ran great thanx alot. unfortunately it says that everything is ok. all the ckecks came out fine. i cleared the memory. but when i went back to the nav screen it is still stuck on searching for destination. atleast i discovered your website, you have some great stuff on there i read it for about a hour. if you have anymore suggestions let me know. i much rather donate a few dollars to you than give lexus over 600. thanx. still in need of assistance.

How long did you leave the power off the unit when you removed it?

I hate to say it, but if it was for any length of time and it still didn't reset....you may have to do what Lexus suggested. I can't see how the unit wouldn't reset with power off for any amount of time w/o having some kind of software/drive problem. It seems like that is the only thing left in the system to be able to malfunction in the way that it is. Not that it is related, but have you tried reseting the car's ECU?

I'm not all that up to speed on the navi stuff. I'm just trying to help.

Take the battery terminal off for atleast 30 mins or so. That should reset both the ecu and possibly the navi.

Just trying to see if something simple will reset it.
