you have 4" component speakers on your doors, 6.5" full range speakers behind your rear seats, and one 8" subwoofer under your brake light, all of the speakers are hooked up to pioneer amps.

i believe the rears can fit 6.5's in the back by just doing a little cutting.

What can you fit in the front? Do aftermarket 4" speakers fit in the factory speaker housing? If you remove the speaker housing, would it be possible to put in a larger speaker, or would you need some sort of custom bracket?

Thanks,
-Brian.

If you do a search you will come across a thread with detailed pics and writeup of DIY fitting in a larger speaker into the enclosure.

Hmm perhaps I should have been more specific. I have the pioneer premium system (the one with the stock 10)

Anyone know the speaker sizes on that?

Ok heres the deal

I have a rockford fosgate 1500w 4 channel amp, and 2 RF 12" HE2's -- I dont want the subs to overpower the stock pioneer speakers. What should I do? Replace the speakers, power the stock speakers with an amp, and what brands do you recommend? -- Please reply, I really need help on deciding
