What would be the diagram for the setup of a 15 inch DVC sub with a 2 channel amplifier ?

It all depends on your amp. If your amp is 2ohm stable in MONO then set-up 2 would be best and amp would give you it's full power as you are combining 2-channels into 1. If its only a 4 ohm amp per output then set-up 1 is best.

Here are the specs of the amp:

- High power 2 x 250 Watts @ 4 Ohms
- 2 x 500W @ 2 Ohms
- 1 x 1000W @ 4 Ohms Mono
- Full MOSFET Design
- 4 & 2 Ohm Stable
- PWM Power Supply
- Tri-Mode Capable
- 12 dB per Octave internal crossover
- Bass/Treble Switch
- Brushed Aluminum Heat Sink
- On-board diagnostics

Please give us more info...what kind of equipment are you using? What are the ratings on the voice coils? I am assuming they are DVC 4 ohm...if so, long story short, you are not going to be able to get max power out of your amp. If you wire the voice coils in parallel like in diagram #1, then you get a 2 ohm mono load, which your amp is not rated to handle. I personally WOULD NOT wire my sub like diagram #2...running one coil off of each channel is just asking for trouble, but thats just my opinion. Run the subs in true series...bridge the amp, taking the positive from one channel to the positive on one VC and then the negative from the other channel to the negative on the other VC. Then, you will have two terminals left: one + on the sub and one - on the sub. Wire those together, and viola! You have an 8 ohm mono load, which will yield you 500W assuming that your amp's specs are accurate.
