Default installing some subwoofers and amplifier

Has anybody installed some subwoofers and an amplifier to the OEM stereo? I know they sell those RCA line out converters that will convert speaker wire to rca output to go to the amplifier.

Anyone had done this mod?

How does the subs sound with the OEM stereo? How did you wire up the remote wire for your sub amp?

Hi, first of all, what kind of car do you have? do you have the nak sound or pioneer? all you need is a line out converter. it will work fine. up until last week...i was using a line out converter on my vehicle. i have the nak sound, and i was runnin a jl 12w7. it was very good.

Hi, ok. well, just look at ur factory amp (should be in the back rite wheel well area). there will be a couple plugs going into the amp. the one w/ only 2 wires coming out is the one you will want to connect the line out converter to. unplug it. if your factory sub stops working, then you know u have the right plug
