Default Custom Install

Wanting to do a custom install on my GS. I'm installing the Kenwood H2A sat. radio reciever. I've got an intial plan, but need some questions answered before I get started.

1)Does anyone know if there is any free space on either side of the brake light in the factory spoiler? I'm wanting to place the antenna inside and run the wire from trunk lid to dash. Since spoiler is non metallic signal can still reach antenna. I'm going for stealth.

2)I'm trying to determine the factory radio specs to determine if it's worth the effort to install the tape unit for sound as opposed to the wire/wireless FM route. Does anyone know where to find the specs of the factory stereo?? I know I can't tap the CD Changer bus, so I'm looking for the next best sounding route. I've been told the tape player route will sound better, but I want to know how much better than FM. If I install the tape route you won't see ANY wires when I'm finished....including the one connecting to the tape.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

You would have to cut up the factory spoiler to get it in there wouldn't you?

Why not just mount the sat. antenna on the rear deck closest to the rear edge of the rear window?

My reception works fine on my sat. with the antenna in that location

Don't know yet. But if that is the case, then the rear deck lid is my second location choice. I should know soon whether or not the spoiler is a possible location.
