Greetings.

I just destroyed my '93 SC300 in a serious wet-skid (hydroplaned spin off an embankment) accident (lucky to be alive and recovering only from broken clavicle/shoulder and mild concussion). By the way there were no other vehicles or individuals involved, thank God.

I just discovered this excellent site and have learned a lot from scanning your informative threads, as I try to recover from the injuries and await the delivery of a recently-purchased 2001 RX300 4X4.

The following questions have ocurred to me:

1. Would it be possible to convert, in some way, my '93 SC300 remote key (which locks/unlocks doors with push of small button on edge of key's black base) so that it can be used in my spouse's '92 SC300 (which has the same TYPE of key)?

2. If this is impossible, can someone direct me to an INEXPENSIVE source for a fully-functional remote key duplicate for my spouse's '92 SC300?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
